Rev. Nancy White
Nancy Henderson White is a West Virginia native, growing up in the Eastern Panhandle of the state. She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, with degrees in the field of Christian Education. Rev. Nancy is certified in Christian Education and Youth Ministry with The United Methodist Church and is an ordained deacon. She has participated in mission experiences to Russia and Nicaragua as well as Kentucky, Louisiana, and West Virginia.
She finds operating power tools for mission projects very “empowering” and lots of fun, too. Nancy and husband, Roy, live in St. Albans, WV, with their two-year-old son, Liam. Nancy likes to read detective/suspense novels, do crossword puzzles in pen, and loves strawberries.
Brenda Tyler
Brenda Tyler was born on February 9, 1946 and was raised in Cowen, WV. Brenda graduated from Cowen High School in 1963 and has received several college credits in business and computer classes from West Virginia State College. She was a stay-at-home mom until March 1982, when she was hired as the Administrative Assistant at St. Paul’s Church. Brenda served eight years on Nitro City Council, with her greatest achievement being the raising of funds for and the overseeing of the building of the Nitro Children’s Park.
Brenda married Keith Tyler on January 3, 1965. They have three adult children, Jeff, Lorrie & Brad, and six grandchildren, Jordan, Daulton, Rachel, Emily, Savannah, and Ava. She likes all music... especially country and the music of Rod Stewart.
